Homosexual activists attempt to portray their lifestyle as normal and healthy, and insist that homosexual relationships are the equivalent in every way to their heterosexual counterparts. Hollywood and the media relentlessly propagate the image of the fit, healthy, and well-adjusted homosexual. The reality is quite opposite to this caricature which was recently conceded by the homosexual newspaper New York Blade News:

Reports at a national conference about sexually transmitted diseases indicate that gay men are in the highest risk group for several of the most serious diseases. . . . Scientists believe that the increased number of sexually tranmitted diseases (STD) cases is the result of an increase in risky sexual practices by a growing number of gay men who believe HIV is no longer a life-threatening illness.[1]
Instability and promiscuity typically characterize homosexual relationships. These two factors increase the incidence of serious and incurable stds. In addition, some homosexual behaviors put practitioners at higher risk for a variety of ailments, as catalogued by the following research data:

Risky Sexual Behavior on the Rise Among Homosexuals. Despite two decades of intensive efforts to educate homosexuals against the dangers of acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and other stds, the incidence of unsafe sexual practices that often result in various diseases is on the rise. [2]

The CDC reported that during the same period the proportion of men reporting having multiple sex partners and unprotected anal sex increased from 23.6 percent to 33.3 percent. The largest increase in this category (from 22 percent to 33.3 percent) was reported by homosexuals twenty-five years old or younger.[3]

Homosexuals Failing to Disclose Their HIV Status to Sex Partners
A study presented July 13, 2000 at the XIII International aids Conference in Durban, South Africa disclosed that a significant number of homosexual and bisexual men with hiv “continue to engage in unprotected sex with people who have no idea they could be contracting HIV.”[4] Researchers from the University of California, San Francisco found that thirty-six percent of homosexuals engaging in unprotected oral, anal, or vaginal sex failed to disclose that they were HIV positive to casual sex partners.[5]

A CDC report revealed that, in 1997, 45 percent of homosexuals reporting having had unprotected anal intercourse during the previous six months did not know the HIV serostatus of all their sex partners. Even more alarming, among those who reported having had unprotected anal intercourse and multiple partners, 68 percent did not know the HIV serostatus of their partners.[6]

Young Homosexuals are at Increased Risk. Following in the footsteps of the generation of homosexuals decimated by AIDS, younger homosexuals are engaging in dangerous sexual practices at an alarming rate.

A Johns Hopkins University School of Public Health study of three-hundred-sixty-one young men who have sex with men (MSM) aged fifteen to twenty-two found that around 40 percent of participants reported having had anal-insertive sex, and around 30 percent said they had had anal-receptive sex. Thirty-seven percent said they had not used a condom for anal sex during their last same-sex encounter. Twenty-one percent of the respondents reported using drugs or alcohol during their last same-sex encounter.[7]

A five-year CDC study of 3,492 homosexual males aged fifteen to twenty-two found that one-quarter had unprotected sex with both men and women. Another cdc study of 1,942 homosexual and bisexual men with HIV found that 19 percent had at least one episode of unprotected anal sex–the riskiest sexual behavior–in 1998 and 1997, a 50 percent increase from the previous two years.[8]

Homosexual Promiscuity. Studies indicate that the average male homosexual has hundreds of sex partners in his lifetime:

A.P. Bell and M.S. Weinberg, in their classic study of male and female homosexuality, found that 43 percent of white male homosexuals had sex with 500 or more partners, with 28 percent having 1,000 or more sex partners.[9]

In their study of the sexual profiles of 2,583 older homosexuals published in Journal of Sex Research, Paul Van de Ven et al., found that only 2.7 percent claimed to have had sex with one partner only. The most common response, given by 21.6 percent of the respondents, was of having a hundred-one to five hundred lifetime sex partners.[10]

A survey conducted by the homosexual magazine Genre found that 24 percent of the respondents said they had had more than a hundred sexual partners in their lifetime. The magazine noted that several respondents suggested including a category of those who had more than a thousand sexual partners.[11]
In his study of male homosexuality in Western Sexuality: Practice and Precept in Past and Present Times, M. Pollak found that “few homosexual relationships last longer than two years, with many men reporting hundreds of lifetime partners.”[12]

Promiscuity among Homosexual Couples. Even in those homosexual relationships in which the partners consider themselves to be in a committed relationship, the meaning of “committed” typically means something radically different from marriage.

In The Male Couple, authors David P. McWhirter and Andrew M. Mattison reported that in a study of a hundred-fifty-six males in homosexual relationships lasting from one to thirty-seven years,

Only seven couples have a totally exclusive sexual relationship, and these men all have been together for less than five years. Stated another way, all couples with a relationship lasting more than five years have incorporated some provision for outside sexual activity in their relationships.[13]
In Male and Female Homosexuality, M. Saghir and E. Robins found that the average male homosexual live-in relationship lasts between two and three years.[14]

Unhealthy Aspects of “Monogamous” Homosexual Relationships. Even those homosexual relationships that are loosely termed “monogamous” do not necessarily result in healthier behavior.

The journal AIDS reported that men involved in relationships engaged in anal intercourse and oral-anal intercourse with greater frequency than those without a steady partner.[15] Anal intercourse has been linked to a host of bacterial and parasitical sexually transmitted diseases, including AIDS.

The exclusivity of the relationship did not diminish the incidence of unhealthy sexual acts, which are commonplace among homosexuals. An English study published in the same issue of the journal AIDS concurred, finding that most “unsafe” sex acts among homosexuals occur in steady relationships.[16]

Human Papillomavirus (HPV). HPV is a collection of more than seventy types of viruses that can cause warts, or papillomas, on various parts of the body. More than twenty types of HPV are incurable STDs that can infect the genital tract of both men and women. Most HPV infections are subclinical or asymptomatic, with only one in a hundred people experiencing genital warts.

HPV is “almost universal” among homosexuals. According to the homosexual newspaper The Washington Blade: “A San Francisco study of Gay and bisexual men revealed that HPV infection was almost universal among HIV-positive men, and that 60 percent of HIV-negative men carried HPV.”[17]

HPV can lead to anal cancer. At the recent Fourth International AIDS Malignancy Conference at the National Institutes of Health, Dr. Andrew Grulich announced that “most instances of anal cancer are caused by a cancer-causing strain of HPV through receptive anal intercourse. HPV infects over 90 percent of HIV-positive gay men and 65 percent of HIV-negative gay men, according to a number of recent studies.”[18]

The link between HPV and cervical cancer. Citing a presentation by Dr. Stephen Goldstone to the International Congress on Papillomavirus in Human Pathology in Paris, the Washington Blade reports that “HPV is believed to cause cervical cancer in women.”[19]

Hepatitis: A potentially fatal liver disease that increases the risk of liver cancer.

Hepatitis A: The Mortality and Morbidity Weekly Report published by the CDC reports: “Outbreaks of hepatitis A among men who have sex with men are a recurring problem in many large cities in the industrialized world.”[20]

Hepatitis B: This is a serious disease caused by a virus that attacks the liver. The virus, which is called hepatitis B virus (HBV), can cause lifelong infection, cirrhosis (scarring) of the liver, liver cancer, liver failure, and death. Each year in the United States, more than 200,000 people of all ages contract hepatitis B and close to 5,000 die of sickness caused by AIDS. The CDC reports that MSM are at increased risk for hepatitis B.[21]

Hepatitis C is an inflammation of the liver that can cause cirrhosis, liver failure and liver cancer. The virus can lie dormant in the body for up to thirty years before flaring up. Although less so than with hepatitis A and B, MSM who engage in unsafe sexual practices remain at increased risk for contracting hepatitis C.[22]

Gonorrhea: An inflammatory disease of the genital tract. Gonorrhea traditionally occurs on the genitals, but has recently appeared in the rectal region and in the throat. Although easily treated by antibiotics, according to the cdc only “about 50 percent of men have some signs or symptoms, and “many women who are infected have no symptoms of infection.”[23] Untreated gonorrhea can have serious and permanent health consequences, including infertility damage to the prostate and urethra.

A CDC report documents “significant increases during 1994 to 1997 in rectal gonorrhea . . . among MSM,” indicating that “safe sex” practices may not be taken as seriously as the aids epidemic begins to slow.[24] In 1999 the CDC released data showing that male rectal gonorrhea is increasing among homosexuals amidst an overall decline in national gonorrhea rates. The report attributed the increase to a larger percentage of homosexuals engaging in unsafe sexual behavior.[25]

The incidence of throat Gonorrhea is strongly associated with homosexual behavior. The Canadian Medical Association Journal found that “gonorrhea was associated with urethral discharge . . . and homosexuality (3.7 times higher than the rate among heterosexuals).”[26] Similarly, a study in the Journal of Clinical Pathology found that homosexual men had a much higher prevalence of pharyngeal (throat) gonorrhea–15.2 percent compared with 4.1 percent for heterosexual men.[27]

Syphilis: A venereal disease that, if left untreated, can spread throughout the body over time, causing serious heart abnormalities, mental disorders, blindness, and death. The initial symptoms of syphilis are often mild and painless, leading some individuals to avoid seeking treatment. According to the National Institutes of Health, the disease may be mistaken for other common illnesses: “syphilis has sometimes been called ‘the great imitator’ because its early symptoms are similar to those of many other diseases.” Early symptoms include rashes, moist warts in the groin area, slimy white patches in the mouth, or pus-filled bumps resembling chicken pox.[28]

According to the CDC, “transmission of the organism occurs during vaginal, anal, or oral sex.”[29] In addition, theArchives of Internal Medicine found that homosexuals acquired syphilis at a rate ten times that of heterosexuals.[30]

The CDC reports that those who contract syphilis face potentially deadly health consequences: “It is now known that the genital sores caused by syphilis in adults also make it easier to transmit and acquire HIV infection sexually. There is a two to five fold increased risk of acquiring hiv infection when syphilis is present.”[31]

Gay Bowel Syndrome (GBS):[32] The Journal of the American Medical Association refers to GBS problems such as proctitis, proctocolitis, and enteritis as “sexually transmitted gastrointestinal syndromes.”[33] Many of the bacterial and protozoa pathogens that cause gbs are found in feces and transmitted to the digestive system: According to the pro-homosexual text Anal Pleasure and Health, ”[s]exual activities provide many opportunities for tiny amounts of contaminated feces to find their way into the mouth of a sexual partner . . . The most direct route is oral-anal contact.”[34]

Proctitis and Proctocolitis are inflammations of the rectum and colon that cause pain, bloody r ectal discharge and rectal spasms. Proctitis is associated with STDs such as gonorrhea, chlamydia, herpes, and syphilis that are widespread among homosexuals.[35] The Sexually Transmitted Disease Information Center of the Journal of the American Medical Association reports that “[p]roctitis occurs predominantly among persons who participate in anal intercourse.”

Enteritis is inflammation of the small intestine. According to the Sexually Transmitted Disease Information Center of the Journal of the American Medical Association, ”enteritis occurs among those whose sexual practices include oral-fecal contact.”[36] Enteritis can cause abdominal pain, severe cramping, intense diarrhea, fever, malabsorption of nutrients, weight loss.[37] According to a report in The Health Implications of Homosexuality by the Medical Institute for Sexual Health, some pathogens associated with enteritis and proctocolitis [see below] “appear only to be sexually transmitted among men who have sex with men.”[38]

HIV/AIDS Among Homosexuals. The human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) is responsible for causing AIDS, for which there exists no cure.

Homosexual men are the largest risk category. The CDC reports that homosexuals comprise the single largest exposure category of the more than 600,000 males with AIDS in the United States. As of December 1999, “men who have sex with men” and “men who have sex with men and inject drugs” together accounted for 64 percent of the cumulative total of male AIDS cases.[39]

Women risk contracting HIV/AIDS through sexual relations with infected MSM. According to the CDC, “HIV infection among U.S. women has increased significantly over the last decade, especially in communities of color. cdc estimates that, in the United States, between 120,000 and 160,000 adult and adolescent females are living with HIV infection, including those with AIDS.” In 1999, for example, most of the women (40 percent) reported with AIDS were infected through heterosexual exposure to HIV.[40] That number is actually higher, as “historically, more than two-thirds of AIDS cases among women initially reported without identified risk were later reclassified as heterosexual transmission.”[41]

Homosexuals with HIV are at increased risk for developing other life-threatening diseases. A paper delivered at the Fourth International AIDS Malignancy Conference at the National Institutes of Health reported that homosexual men with HIV have “a 37-fold increase in anal cancer, a 4-fold increase in Hodgkin’s disease (cancer of the lymph nodes), a 2.7-fold increase in cancer of the testicles, and a 2.5 fold increase in lip cancer.”[42]

HIV/AIDS Among Young People
AIDS incidence is on the rise among teens and young adults. The CDC reports that, “even though AIDS incidence (the number of new cases diagnosed during a given time period, usually a year) is declining, there has not been a comparable decline in the number of newly diagnosed HIV cases among youth.[43]

Young homosexual men are at particular risk. The CDC estimates that “at least half of all new HIV infections in the United States are among people under twenty-five, and the majority of young people are infected sexually.”[44] By the end of 1999, 29,629 young people aged thirteen to twenty-four were diagnosed with AIDS in the United States. MSM were the single largest risk category: in 1999, for example, 50 percent of all new AIDS cases were reported among young homosexuals.[45]

Sexually active young women are also at risk. The CDC reports: “In 1999, among young women the same age, 47 percent of all AIDS cases reported were acquired heterosexually and 11 percent were acquired through injection drug use.”

Homosexuals with STDs Are at an Increased Risk for HIV Infection. Studies of MSM treated in STD clinics show rates of infection as high as 36 percent in major cities.[46] A CDC study attributed the high infection rate to having high numbers of anonymous sex partners: “[S]yphilis, gonorrhea, and chlamydia apparently have been introduced into a population of MSM who have large numbers of anonymous partners, which can result in rapid and extensive transmission of STDs.”[47] The CDC report concluded: “Persons with STDs, including genital ulcer disease and nonulcerative STD, have a twofold to fivefold increased risk for HIV infection.”[48]

Anal Cancer: Homosexuals are at increased risk for this rare type of cancer, which is potentially fatal if the anal-rectal tumors metastasize to other bodily organs.

Dr. Joel Palefsky, a leading expert in the field of anal cancer, reports that while the incidence of anal cancer in the United States is only 0.9/100,000, that number soars to 35/100,000 for homosexuals. That rate doubles again for those who are HIV positive, which, according to Dr. Palefsky, is “roughly ten times higher than the current rate of cervical cancer.”[49]

At the Fourth International AIDS Malignancy Conference at the National Institutes of Health in May, 2000, Dr. Andrew Grulich announced that the incidence of anal cancer among homosexuals with HIV “was raised 37-fold compared with the general population.”[50]

Lesbians are at Risk through Sex with MSM
Many Lesbians also have had sex with men. The homosexual newspaper The Washington Blade, citing a 1998 study in the Journal of Infectious Diseases, reported that “the study’s data confirmed previous scientific observations that most women who have sex with women also have had sex with men.”[51] The study added that “sex with men in the prior year was common, as were sexual practices between female partners that possibly could transmit HPV.”[52]

Lesbians have more male sex partners that their heterosexual counterparts. A study of sexually transmitted disease among lesbians reviewed in The Washington Blade notes: “Behavioral research also demonstrates that a woman’s sexual identity is not an accurate predictor of behavior, with a large proportion of ‘lesbian’ women reporting sex with (often high risk) men.”[53] The study found that “the median number of lifetime male sexual partners was significantly greater for WSW (women who have sex with women) than controls (twelve partners versus six). WSW were significantly more likely to report more than fifty lifetime male sexual partners.”[54]

A study in the American Journal of Public Health concurs that bisexual women are at increased risk for contracting sexually transmitted diseases: “Our findings corroborate the finding that wsmw (women who have sex with men and women) are more likely than WSMO (women who have sex with men only) to engage in various high-risk behaviors” and also “to engage in a greater number of risk-related behaviors.”[55] The study suggested that the willingness to engage in risky sexual practices “could be tied to a pattern of sensation-seeking behavior.”[56]

MSM spread HIV to women. A five-year study by the CDC of 3,492 homosexuals aged fifteen to twenty-two found that one in six also had sex with women. Of those having sex with women, one-quarter “said they recently had unprotected sex with both men and women.” Nearly 7 percent of the men in the study were HIV positive.”[57]“The study confirms that young bisexual men are a ‘bridge’ for HIV transmission to women,” said the CDC.[58]

“Exclusive” Lesbian Relationships Also at Risk. The assumption that lesbians involved in exclusive sexual relationships are at reduced risk for sexual disease is false. The journal Sexually Transmitted Infections concludes: “The risk behavior profile of exclusive WSW was similar to all WSW.”[59] One reason for this is because lesbians “were significantly more likely to report past sexual contact with a homosexual or bisexual man and sexual contact with an IDU (intravenous drug user).”[60]

Cancer Risk Factors for Lesbians. Citing a 1999 report released by the Institute of Medicine, an arm of the National Academy of Sciences, the homosexual newspaper The Washington Blade notes that “various studies on Lesbian health suggest that certain cancer risk factors occur with greater frequency in this population. These factors include higher rates of smoking, alcohol use, poor diet, and being overweight.”[61] Elsewhere the Bladealso reports: “Some experts believe Lesbians might be more likely than women in general to develop breast or cervical cancer because a disproportionate number of them fall into high-risk categories.”[62]

Sexually Transmitted Diseases Among Lesbians
In a study of the medical records of 1,408 lesbians, the journal Sexually Transmitted Infections found that women who have sexual relations with womenare at significantly higher risk for certain sexually transmitted diseases: “We demonstrated a higher prevalence of bv (bacterial vaginosis), hepatitis C, and HIV risk behaviors in WSW as compared with controls.”[63]

Compulsive Behavior among Lesbians. A study published in Nursing Research found that lesbians are three times more likely to abuse alcohol and to suffer from other compulsive behaviors: “Like most problem drinkers, 32 (91 percent) of the participants had abused other drugs as well as alcohol, and many reported compulsive difficulties with food (34 percent), codependency (29 percent), sex (11 percent), and money (6 percent).” In addition, “Forty-six percent had been heavy drinkers with frequent drunkenness.”[64]

Alcohol Abuse Among Homosexuals and Lesbians
The Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychologists reports that lesbian women consume alcohol more frequently, and in larger amounts, than heterosexual women.[65] Lesbians were at significantly greater risk than heterosexual women for both binge drinking (19.4 percent compared to 11.7 percent), and for heavy drinking (7 percent compared to 2.7 percent).[66]

Although the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychologists article found no significant connection between male homosexuals and alcohol abuse, a study in Family Planning Perspective concluded that male homosexuals were at greatly increased risk for alcoholism: “Among men, by far the most important risk group consisted of homosexual and bisexual men, who were more than nine times as likely as heterosexual men to have a history of problem drinking.”[67] The study noted that problem drinking may contribute to the “significantly higher STD rates among gay and bisexual men.”[68]

Violence in Lesbian and Homosexual Relationships.

A study in the Journal of Interpersonal Violence examined conflict and violence in lesbian relationships. The researchers found that 90 percent of the lesbians surveyed had been recipients of one or more acts of verbal aggression from their intimate partners during the year prior to this study, with 31 percent reporting one or more incidents of physical abuse.[69]

In a survey of 1,099 lesbians, the Journal of Social Service Research found that “slightly more than half of the [lesbians] reported that they had been abused by a female lover/partner. The most frequently indicated forms of abuse were verbal/emotional/psychological abuse and combined physical-psychological abuse.”[70]

In their book Men Who Beat the Men Who Love Them: Battered Gay Men and Domestic Violence,D. Island and P. Letellier report that “the incidence of domestic violence among gay men is nearly double that in the heterosexual population.”[71]

Compare the Low Rate of Intimate Partner Violence within Marriage. Homosexual and lesbian relationships are far more violent than are traditional married households:

The Bureau of Justice Statistics (U.S. Department of Justice) reports that married women in traditional families experience the lowest rate of violence compared with women in other types of relationships.[72]

A report by the Medical Institute for Sexual Health concurred,

It should be noted that most studies of family violence do not differentiate between married and unmarried partner status. Studies that do make these distinctions have found that marriage relationships tend to have the least intimate partner violence when compared to cohabiting or dating relationships.[73]

High Incidence of Mental Health Problems among Homosexuals and Lesbians. A national survey of lesbians published in the Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology found that 75 percent of the nearly 2,000 respondents had pursued psychological counseling of some kind, many for treatment of long-term depression or sadness:

Among the sample as a whole, there was a distressingly high prevalence of life events and behaviors related to mental health problems. Thirty-seven percent had been physically abused and 32 percent had been raped or sexually attacked. Nineteen percent had been involved in incestuous relationships while growing up. Almost one-third used tobacco on a daily basis and about 30 percent drank alcohol more than once a week; 6 percent drank daily. One in five smoked marijuana more than once a month. Twenty-one percent of the sample had thoughts about suicide sometimes or often and 18 percent had actually tried to kill themselves. . . . More than half had felt too nervous to accomplish ordinary activities at some time during the past year and over one-third had been depressed.[74]
Greater Risk for Suicide.

A study of twins that examined the relationship between homosexuality and suicide, published in the Archives of General Psychiatry,found that homosexuals with same-sex partners were at greater risk for overall mental health problems, and were 6.5 times more likely than their twins to have attempted suicide. The higher rate was not attributable to mental health or substance abuse disorders.[75]

Another study published simultaneously in Archives of General Psychiatry followed 1,007 individuals from birth. Those classified as “gay,” lesbian, or bisexual were significantly more likely to have had mental health problems.[76] Significantly, in his comments on the studies in the same issue of the journal, D. Bailey cautioned against various speculative explanations of the results, such as the view that “widespread prejudice against homosexual people causes them to be unhappy or worse, mentally ill.”[77]

Reduced Life Span. A study published in the International Journal of Epidemiology on the mortality rates of homosexualsconcluded that they have a significantly reduced life expectancy:

In a major Canadian centre, life expectancy at age twentyfor gay and bisexual men is eight to twenty years less than for all men. If the same pattern of mortality were to continue, we estimate that nearly half of gay and bisexual men currently aged twenty years will not reach their sixty-fifth birthday. Under even the most liberal assumptions, gay and bisexual men in this urban centre are now experiencing a life expectancy similar to that experienced by all men in Canada in the year 1871.[78]
In 1995, long after the deadly effects of AIDS and other stds became widely known, homosexual author Urvashi Vaid expressed one of the goals of her fellow activists: “We have an agenda to create a society in which homosexuality is regarded as healthy, natural, and normal. To me that is the most important agenda item.”[79]Debilitating illness, chronic disease, psychological problems, and early death suffered by homosexuals is the legacy of this tragically misguided activism, which puts the furthering of an “agenda” above saving the lives of those whose interests they purport to represent.

Those who advocate full acceptance of homosexual behavior choose to downplay the growing and incontrovertible evidence regarding the serious, life-threatening health effects associated with the homosexual lifestyle. Homosexual advocacy groups have a moral duty to disseminate medical information that might dissuade individuals from entering or continuing in an inherently unhealthy and dangerous lifestyle. Education officials in particular have a duty to provide information regarding the negative health effects of homosexuality to students in their charge, whose very lives are put at risk by engaging in such behavior. After going through my library I stumbled across in my opinion one of the most compelling books ever written by the late David Wilkerson entitled Racing Toward Judgment. 
In this book I found a letter that was published in a chapter written to then President Jimmy Carter. When I started reading its content I began to reflect on history and how many of our presidents publicly declared their ‘Christian’ faith.  When President Carter made it known he was a Christian the religious communities were ecstatic.  Even today President Barrack H. Obama has made it known throughout his presidency that he too is a Christian. And those who support his agenda rejoice, especially those of African-American affluence.

In many of our African-American churches today, you can’t pass a hallway without seeing President Obama’s picture next to the pastors and Serapis Bey (false image of a Christ). Sermons are tailored around the presidents accomplishments that cater to the (black) agenda. There are gospel CDs name after him, restaurant menus, shoes, bibles and you name it.

Recently I’ve seen pastors celebrate their photo opportunities with the president. They proudly sharing their pictures on facebook and throughout social media.  I’ve even had some intense discussions about his faith, his politics and how it will eventually impact the Church. But many of these pastors avoid those issues. They stay in the moment and turn away from a biblical responsibility to address governmental issues. One preacher who showed off his picture with the president told me, “He’s the president of the United States and not your pastor.”  I agreed, but I challenged him by saying,

“Boasting about a photo opportunity with the president is kind of hard to be proud of right now.  Obama is the first ‘Christian’ president who has ‘come-out’ and put policy in place to support, defend and protect sexual immorality.  And unlike any sitting  president he’s been an advocate for everything that is anti-Christ. This administration is putting in place policies that will not only affect the Church but it will bring further judgment upon this nation like we’ve never seen.  And you’re celebrating a photo opportunity?” I continued, “How about a missed opportunity when you could have ministered to him and spoke the word of God concerning this nation. Are you kidding me?”

But quickly our conversation was cut short. I was  rejected for being judgmental because I didn’t relish in the moment with him. However those who supported the pastor spoke against what I expressed and he swiftly deleted my response. He went on to suggest that what I said was inappropriate. Go figure. Now getting back to the letter, I sincerely believe Wilkerson spoke directly from the heart of God concerning the direction of

America in the late 1970s.  The complexity of the climate and culture of that era now mirrors a similar state that has waxed even colder in 2013,

I believe Wilkerson pen a prophetic letter to President Carter in an attempt to not only warn him about the judgment coming to America but to also hold him accountable. Since he did profess to be a member of the body of Christ.

Dear Sir;

The Bible has much to say to our president and America at this particular time. From its prophecies, we must recognize that this nation is at a pivotal point. Two ways lie before us: one of righteousness with God or one of rejection because of pride. The Bible says, “Righteousness exalteth a nation, but sin is a reproach to any nation.”

You, as president, have a choice to show a spiritually hungry world what God can do for a nation whose leader is not ashamed to proclaim faith in Him.

God wants to unite Himself with the leaders of this nation -now- to bring about a new capacity for humility and love. Repentance gives a nation the right to God’s resources, and humility gives access to true prosperity and peace. National unbelief must now give way to honesty with God.

Mr. President, we believe your claim to be a Christian. We know, therefore, there is one thing you can never be, and that is silent about it. To know Christ is to inevitably proclaim His love and power in every aspect of life. Christ cannot be subjugated by party politics. He must not be drowned out by Potomac fever. He can never take second place to policy or expediency.  You can separate politics from religion but not from Christ!

Others of us who claim to be born-again believe God is giving America her final call to repentance and humility. We believe the president must say in his inaugural address what God wants to hear. He must not be snubbed or given just a formal acknowledgement. God is waiting for your direct public and shameless appeal for His help and guidance.

We pray for you, Mr. President you deserve time to put into practice what you really believe. But, time is running out. A porno plague must be stopped. Violence must be curbed. The moral landslide must end. Righteousness, truth, and the exaltation of God must be experienced by all.

 God’s final trumpets are sounding, and this nation and its leaders had better catch step with its high mission. We can no longer keep hiding from a voice that keeps sounding in our ears.

There is a surplus of guilt in the American soul. It is more than just a growing sense that we have offended against the welfare of the human race. It is a growing sense that there is something called sin in the world and that God must see it either forsaken or judged. And, the majority of people of this nation do want God involved in all our affairs.  They know we can no longer be left to our own devices on the wrinkled, worn-out skin of this pigmy planet!

In this crisis time, the American people must learn the lesson of history. History repeats itself, and God said what happened to past societies can happen to this society. They decayed and crumbled because of corruption.

In six thousand years, we have fashioned twenty odd civilizations and destroyed every one. Today we are nearer than we ever were before to the possibility of self-extinction.

We have seen what happened to nations who just didn’t seem to think God was necessary anymore. With God, gone, they got Communism, Fascism, and Nazism.

When God is no longer the hitching post for a nation’s morality a dreadful and abysmal sense of futility follows. The only goal then becomes comfort and the protection of national pride. When a people lose their consciousness of God, they lose their aim in life, and then it is no trick at all to fool mankind into any kind of surrender you plan for him.

The pressure of God on our national soul has never been greater than it is right now. To betray it now would be to wear thin the patience of God with our generation. We can do longer afford to idle away our time while our civilization staggers down another God forsaken road to ruin. It’s time to get down to rock bottom, because the problem of freedom has now become religious.

 We have whittled down God almost to a vanishing point. Nothing more than a dream of sleepy preachers. We have tried to make Him obsolete. We have tried to maneuver and manipulate Him as though He were some kind of vest-pocket edition of our own fantasies. No wonder our nation is forever trying to interpret its own confusion. Really, there isn’t nearly the confusion around as some would have think; there is plenty of downright avoidance – of God. Unless we prefer to be confused, there is a way out! That way out is through humility and repentance, from the White House down through the country courthouses.

This nation has many who would “sneer” God out of the minds of our young. Large sections of our population now engage in cheap ridicule of Puritanism. The word itself arouses contempt. The sophisticated intellectuals regard the founding Puritan fathers as comic figures.

 In all the media, wit and mockery are used to cleverly and sarcastically put down the moral codes of the past. It is a design to create a flippant atmosphere in which Christian morals come across “awfully funny.”

 Television especially wallows in ghastly comedy aimed at giggling away standards once considered honorable. How can God long spare a nation that makes science so sure and God so “creepy”?  Agnostics want it believed that Christian ethics is a morality for slaves. A spiritual awakening can turn this tide, almost overnight. You have the power to help turn the tide.

We realize the president can’t do it all. But, we believe America is in a mood to respond to a national call to renewed faith and trust in God. Bible history clearly reveals that the fate of nations depended upon the spiritual bend of their leaders. When spiritual leaders used their power to execute righteousness before God and the nation, prosperity and peace always followed. When the leaders turned away from God and compromised, trouble erupted on all fronts. Jewish history is filled with such examples.

1. King Jehoshaphat used the power of his office to clean up the courts and bring judges back to true values. 

He said to the judges, Take heed what you do; for you judge not for man, but for the Lord…wherefore now let the fear of the Lord be upon you; for God will not put up with iniquity, nor favoring certain people, nor the taking of bribes.. (II Chronicles 19:6-7 kjv, paraphrased.)

This godly leader, “set himself to seek the Lord.” He encouraged the nation to “ask help of the Lord” in their hour of crisis. He proclaimed a national time of fasting and prayer. At his bidding, all the nation “stood before the Lord.” The leader and all the citizens cried out, “In God’s hand is all the power and might, and none will be able to withstand Him.”

So the realm of Jehoshaphat was quiet; for his God gave him rest round about.. (II Chronicles 17:10-19)

2. The Bible speaks of another time and society that was vexed with turbulence. The whole world was sick.

 “And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries. And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for God did vex them with all adversity.” (II Chronicles 15:5,6)

God, In His mercy, destined a great leader to bring people together. His name was Asa, a leader the Bible says “who did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord his God.” This chosen man was confronted by the prophet Azariah with this warning.

The Lord is with you, while you are with him; and if you seek him, he will be found of you; but if you forsake him, he will forsake you. ( II Chronicles 15:2)

King Asa, in a troubled and turbulent hour, led all of Israel back to the God of their fathers. The Bible says, “He commanded the m to seek the Lord of their fathers, and to obey the law and the commandments..” The people gladly responded.  The result? They rebuilt cities. They prospered beyond all that could be imagined.  The country had peace. They grew powerful and strong. All because “We sought the Lord our God, and He has given us rest on every side. So they built and prospered?” (II Chronicles 14:7)

3. King Jehorma came into power during a time of great prosperity and peace in Israel. But “he did that which was evil in the eyes of the Lord.” He led his people into compromise, dishonesty, and birbery. Suddenly, a nation that enjoyed peace and prosperity was threatened with war by the Phillistines and Arabians. Enemies “carried away all their substance.” And this man died with an incurable disease, for “God smote him” after only eight years in office. And he was buried with no public mourning, having become very unpopular. (II Chronicles 21)

4. King Abijah was a leader who stood before his nation and cried unashamedly from a mountaintop, “As for us, the Lord is our God, and we have not forsaken Him..”

Facing fantastic odds, God miraculously intervened, and Judah was victorious against an army that outnumbered it two to one. History records this insight: And the children of Judah prevailed, because they relied upon the Lord God of their fathers.. (II Chronicles 13:1-12)

5. King Jehu was a leader who came to power in times similar to these. His inauguration to office filled many with dismay, while exciting others with the highest of hopes. The worshippers of God had been mourning the degeneracy of the times and sighed and prayed for a spiritual renewal.

It seemed their prayers were answered, and they thought they recognized in this man just brought to office one who would use his great zeal and ambition to save the nation from the whirlpool of ruin into which it was rapidly sinking.

He came to power out of nowhere. His language was one of pious politics. He spoke sincerely and boldly of reform. He was one of those decisive, ambitious, calculating, passionate men whom God, from time to time, raises up to change the fate of nations and to fulfill His will.

 Supposing him to have been, by conviction, a true follower of the Lord, believers gave him their favor. He was such a man of action, organization, and contemplation; the entire nation was filled with new hope. He had a sense of destiny about him.

 The nation was reeling from the Impact of a wicked, fallen government. Its former leader had fallen as a result of a moral landslide. Flagrant immorality had caused the government to collapse, and its leader had become a social leper who was living as an outcast in a secluded house, a man forgotten and out of mind.

  Corruption and bribery in high places had brought about a savage hunger for truth and righteousness. The nation had experienced the trauma of a high level massacre, and a leadership vacuum had developed. Into this vacuum came a new face! One of the most apparently honest the nation had ever seen come to power. No one questioned his sincerity. He appeared to have a firm faith, combined with a strict and earnest life, compelling respect even from his enemies.

This man was not afraid to mix religion with politics; he seemed to be as much interested in righteousness as revenue; he believed God’s grace was needed in government; he claimed to be born again with a holy zeal; he called for the protection of the Jewish faith; his thirst for power seemed directed toward spiritual renewal; he stated that the national government was obligated to protect the spiritual freedom of its people; and he seemed like such a plain man identifying with plain folks.

But King Jehu failed in his mission. The bottom line proved to be pride and self-achievement. His zeal for God cooled when it required him to take a direction contrary to his own will. Jehu was not truly reformed or committed, and consequently his spiritual revolution failed. This highly praised leader refused to deal with the great sins of his nation, because he was afraid to confront those who gave him his authority. He feared losing his popularity if he called for a complete return to righteousness. He had used religion to ride to power, but now it was exposed as a shallow hypocrisy.

The man who was called by God to be “an instrument of righteousness” rejected his destiny and succumbed to the wicked counsel of evil advisors. The Bible says, “Jehu too no heed to walk in the law of the Lord God… with all his heart.” His religion gave way to his politics. He became more concerned about getting a firm grip on power than allowing God to get a firm grip on him.

Believers in Israel realized they had been deceived. The national spirit was broken, its prestige dimmed, and helpless bewilderment became widespread. A nation that had so desperately bound together in hope for a new direction began to fall under divine judgment. In pursuit of establishing his own royal dynasty, King Jehu gave in to the seductive power of unbelief. Unwilling to do what God told him to do, he paralyzed the spiritual mood of the nation. His reign ended in the worse kind of apostasy and disaster. It ended in horrible calamity and crime. The nation was weakened, and enemies extracted its wealth.

This great leader compromised so blatantly, his government became an insult to God. And a man who could have forever lifted a curse from a doomed nation ended up just another politician, obsessed by a lust for power.

Mr. President may you and all our people heed these Biblical words:

Now all these things happened unto them for en- samples: and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the world are come. (I Corinthians 10:11)

God raised you up for such an hour as this. Never be ashamed of Jesus Christ. Tell the world that He is the real Peacemaker. Follow the example of the righteous leaders of Israel.

Bow before God daily, stretch forth your hands to Heaven, and pray imploring His mercy on this nation. Millions throughout the land are willing to lay on the counter of human life the price of personal responsibility. Believers throughout the world will be holding you up in prayer.

There are a growing number of American Christians who now sense a divine foreboding. They hear the sound of a trumpet, a last call to repentance. God’s subterranean thunder is already roaring forth a warning. Earthquakes, droughts, and financial crises were called, in Bible times, “instruments of judgement.”

This nation can no longer flirt with such ominous retribution. Judgment will result from the wrong we have done to the love God is trying to show us.

What does it take to save a society from judgment? The answer is found at Nineveh. The repentance of that society as a result of Jonah’s warning is one of the great events in history. It will take the very same intense repentance and reform to save America. All the praying and talking in the world will not save our nation, unless it produces “Nineveh-like” repentance.

1. They believed the warnings of coming judgment! A fast was proclaimed, and the entire society was “awed” by the fear of God. It started a revolution of repentance. The masses forsook their pursuit of pleasure. Violence and sensuality was dealt a stunning blow, and crime was punished severely all by decree from the government. The proud wept in sorrow, and phony forms of religion were swept away by a complete turning to God. They said,

Who can tell if God will turn and repent, and turn away from his fierce anger, that we perish not? (Jonah 3:9)

2. All of society was affected! It became a time of national soul searching. The rich and poor, government and society leaders, the good and the bad all humbled themselves in true sorrow for sin. It was not just a “revival of fear” or a spiritual awakening of a segment. No! it was a top to bottom through and through, social and spiritual turnaround. Business adjusted its values. The entire population was in agony over sin and rebellion against God. The leaders wept. Days and weeks of prayer and repentance were called for by the official government; Lawmakers turned to God and cried out, “We are sorry. Save us from ourselves.”

 Jesus warned,

 “The men of Nineveh shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonah; and behold, a greater than Jonah is here.” (Matthew 12:41)

Mr. President, the Bible clearly states what we all must do if your vision for the future of America is to be fulfilled. God’s love is endless, and His commandments are not grievous. All he demands is that we love and seek Him with all our hearts, souls, minds, and bodies. That we never become lukewarm in that love. That we love our neighbors as ourselves; that we exalt righteousness and condemn immorality. That spiritual wickedness in high places is fought against. That Christ never be denied before mankind. That He be acknowledged in all our ways and that we confuse and forsake our sins.

Not one single American can sit as your judge. God alone is your judge. But, to whom much is given much is expected. You represent this nation’s last hope for a government truly “under God.” You must commandeer all our resources to inject God into politics and all our national affairs.

Our government is not absolute in itself; it derives its power from God and exists only as long as God permits it to. Governments rule, not by the consent of men, but by the will of God.

Please sir, use your God-ordained powers to help bring us back to the faith of our fathers.

David Wilkerson’s letter is still relevant in 2013. But have you ever stop to think and wondered if a true  Believer (follower of Christ) could function as President of United States without compromise?  Could a man of God use his Godly influence to bring a nation to its knees?  A man who says, “I’m a Christian and I love God, so I will obey his commandments? After all it would no longer be about him or political influence.

Nevertheless, our nation is in trouble and we must continue to pray for this president, our government and this country. We have a responsibility as believer not to ethnicity or political parties but unto God. And we are neglecting our duties as a Church to hold government accountable and speak what God is speaking. To stand against (immorality) sin in the land and contend for righteousness for His name sake.

Yet He is speaking to His Church, those whom He has called out.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)

Right before our eyes this administration is replacing morality with immorality. It has called evil good and good evil. They are making a violent attempt to silence the Church; they have already warned us to stop speaking out against (sin) and co-exist. Those who have the platforms to speak are silent. They are in an adulterous relationships with the (worlds systems) Leaders have their hands in “Caesars” pockets receiving (benefits) government funding (5013c) and all the pleasures the god of this world brings. They have become the pillow prophets. This is why they are silent. Others are per-occupied skinning & grinning with religious entertainment, selfish ambitions and the ministry of Laodicea. But the true Church is coming forth out-of-Babylon and we will prepare the way of the Lord.

Because the Hope and Change this nation really needs is True Repentance!

   In our society pop culture has always had a great influence over our lives. Whether its music, fashion, religion, media and entertainment, throughout every generation, pop culture continues to forward an agenda of acceptance.  In recent years, there has been a strategic and ecumenical approach to bringing peace and unity among all religions: specifically Islam, Christianity and Judaism but not to exclude Kabala, Wicca, Hinduism and others religions. This initiative is now identified as Coexist. By definition Webster defines coexist as: “To exist together at the same time or in the same place, to live in peace with each other especially in the matter of policy.”  In other words, it really doesn’t matter how we get to God, as long as we all get there together. But even Jesus made it clear that He is the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Him.  I could just end this blog right here. But I wanted to point out some things that may have gone unnoticed among us as believers. I personally believe that popular culture acts as one of many conduits that are covertly influencing the so-called Christian to accept a coexisting ideology. During the late 1960s through the late 1990s  Christianity was the most debased faith in pop culture through the rock subculture. In many sects of the rock subculture signs, symbols and music were openly anti-Christian or Christ. The images and lyrics subconsciously programmed a generation to reject Christ and the gospel. In recent years we have witnessed a Hip hop subculture that has subtly displayed the same sentiments. But since 2007 pop culture has aggressively utilized hip-hop to unify religions covertly under the umbrella of urban fashion.

As we all know, Islam has always had an influence on African-Americans since the1950s. A poll conducted in 2001 by Muslims in the Public Square found that more than 30 percent of American Muslims are African-American.  This same Islamic influence has followed into hip hop and urban fashion. For example in 2006, the Kaffiyeh or the “Houndstooth Desert Scarf” a checker-pattern cloth with tassels usually worn around the necks, head or face was made popular all throughout the hip hop community. But what popular culture didn’t tell us was that the Kaffiyeh represented Palestinian Independence. Palestinian militant groups such as Fatah and Hamas who often wore the kaffiyehs as a political message. The black checkered or red Kaffiyeh’s were worn over their heads in the 1960s.Yasser Arafat’s rebel movement adopted it to symbolize their revolt against Israel.  In a recent article entitled “Militant fashion: A Palestinian scarf hip hop chic” by Lawrence Delevingne of Columbia University interviewed an American Muslim student was said he wore his Kaffiyeh as a symbol of Islam. The student said they wore it to show their Muslim pride.

According to Delevingne Americans have worn kaffiyehs since the late 1980s to show either direct support for Palestinian nationalism or as a general countercultural statement, but they were typically young activists and its reach was limited in black communities.Yet, gospel artist and self-proclaimed ‘Christian’ hip hoppers and  others are seen wearing these scarf’s emulating a fashion or urban trend.  Since, church youth and young adults have been seen dressed down in Kaffiyeh’s unbeknownst to them they’ve worn garments that symbolizes support of an Islamic militia. Another attempt to influence this generation with Islam was the wearing of a Sunnah beard. It was first man popular by members of the Roots, former State Property rapper Freeway, and other Five-Percenters in the hip hop subculture. The Sunnah beards are often worn to show their strong support in the Islamic faith. Now we see young men, preachers and youth ministers in all denominations wearing Sunnah beards because they’ve seen it done by a rapper or entertainer on television. Now I’m not suggesting that every beard is grown exclusively because of an Islamic faith. However, if you follow popular culture closely you will recognized this influence, and once again  you’ll  see that many of us continue demonstrating our ignorance and acceptance of pop-culture and its deception. This resurfaced fashion has become just as popular as men wearing earrings in the pulpits. Look around in some of our Churches, today it’s Sunnah style beards, braids, earrings and women’s stretch pants aka (skinny jeans) go figure.

Today throughout the body of Christ the Star of David is now another popular celebrated image. On the surface many of us have been taught this star represents Israel, most referring to God’s conversation with Abraham, in Gen. 15:5, “As many as the stars of the sky, and the sands of the seashore, so shall your descendants be.”  However, there was never a star or symbol associated with Israel in the form of a hexagram. As a matter of fact, a star was mentioned and condemned by the God in Amos 5:26 and it was called by Him, `the star of your god, Moloch’ or otherwise called `Chiun‘. Reference to Amos 5:26 and the Israelites having it in the wilderness were also made in Acts 7:43. Here it was called the Star of Remphan. All these names refer to the `god’ Saturn. This also validates that it was in existence long before the time of Solomon. He took this symbol upon himself when he fell into idolatry, and it later became known as the `Seal of Solomon’ in Arabic magic and witchcraft, known as Kabala, which later morphed it into the ‘Star of David,’ which is not received by many orthodox Jews as the symbol of Israel.  So we might want to take this hexagram from around our necks, key chains, walls and off face book pages. There is nothing Jewish, or Christian about this star. Biblically, God never gave a hexagram as a star to symbolize Israel.

Look around you today in 2012. You’ll see preachers, young people, rappers, gospel artist and many others in the body of Christ wearing Rosary beads. Aren’t protestant Christians supposed to protest Roman Catholicism? The Rosary bead is often used to recite Roman Catholic prayers of Hail Mary and mysteries of Rosary.  It is taught that when you faithfully wear the Rosary it will help you love Jesus more and they serve as a protection from Satan.As a result when Christians seek to be defined by pop culture or pursue relevancy with the world, it will redefine who you are and what you believe.  This year if you pay close enough attention you’ll see everybody,and I mean everybody buying, selling and wearing Rosary beads like its 1980s sterling silver. Go to the mall you see Muslims selling it and Christian preachers wearing them.

Our young people are accepting a co-existing belief system consciously and subconsciously and popular culture are the programmers. So the next time you see your youth Minister in Rosary beads sporting a Sunnah beard and Kaffiyeh with the Seal of Solomon tattooed on his back you’ll then know what and who has influenced them. This ecumenical agenda is in full operation seeking to align the believer and the next generation up with everything that is anti-Christ. That’s right ANTI-CHRIST, when all religions come together as one, it eliminates Christ as being the only way to God. Even the once great evangelist Billy Graham said it worst, ..

“Whether they come from the Muslim world, Buddhist world, the Christian world the non-believing world, they are members of the body of Christ. They might not even know the name of Jesus..”  If there is ever a time in our history to watch and pray, the time is now. Let no man deceive you by any means!
